I have lived a lifetime in the education arena as both student and teacher and believe that the current state of education is outdated for the 21st Century.

Counseling
Counselors come alongside. They don't tell their clients what to do. Russell Institution Of Learning's Founder, CEO has a background in Child and Family Counseling, Business Industrial Counseling, Battered Women Counseling, Drug and Alcohol Prevention, Intervention, and Recovery Counseling, Girl's Active Prevention (GAP) - Teen Pregnancy Prevention, JumpStart - ARPS Teen Self-Esteem and Moral Value Training, Life Coach (weight, academic, leadership/management, time/organization).

A seasoned counselor is a sounding board to the client. The counselor helps to sort, organize, and analyze the client's thoughts, so then the client can make a wise and informed decision. Decisions made in this manner allow the client to move forward with a minimum of second-guessing and remorse over the decision(s) made.
Training
Training is a combination of teaching and facilitating the practice process with an individual or group until the participant(s) gains skills to perform a task or tasks at a proficient or higher level of pre-identified criteria. Project Management coordinates skills to assist an individual or group (company) to pre-plan an outcome and then work from the end date and expected outcome backward to the start date. Russell Institution Of Learning assists the client to identify the key milestones and the expected completion dates. Identifying the responsible people or workgroups for each aspect of the project must also be completed.

Russell Institution Of Learning plans both the
worst-case scenario versus the best-case scenario. Once the plan is developed a realistic cost analysis is made. It is at this point prior to starting the project the client can determine any alterations to the plan to meet budgetary or time constraints.
